Journey Begins
My story began with a repair man diagnosing my appliance wrongly & tried to over charge!
It really bugged me what this guy tried to do
Outcomes the Haynes manual from the local library to fix my own washer. I was “addicted” & “loved” it so much I started getting 2nd hand ones, repairing & testing and selling on boot sales. I consumed all the manuals on appliance repairs I could get my hands on from UK, Australia & USA plus studied a few books on motors & electricity…
Within 4 months I had a shop in Eight Ash Green that was called “All Bubble No Squeak” & was earning enough to pay my mortgage & fill the fridge.
I learnt from everyone I came into contact with including a vacuum repairman, appliance engineers, & even a Mad Professor

I thought I was repair trained
Little did I know how many types of washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, cookers there were…
So I gained years of experience & still keep learning
Really you need a training course on each one, so I specialised at first in Hotpoint, Creda & Indesit, Then I ventured into Zanussi, Electrolux & AEG, Finally I trained in Bosch Neff & Siemens.
In fact I have Probably had my hands every make & model over the 18 years & loved every minute
I am so glad I took the leap of faith around my 31st birthday to study & learn all about appliances from the best teachers including my now business partner Paul whom has taught me lots!”
